Brian Woodward, Ph.D.
Dr. Brian Woodward is currently a Senior Faculty member at the Banff Centre: Leadership Development Area and Research Co-ordinator in the Leadership Learning Lab that he established in 2003. Brian received his doctoral degree in Educational Psychology from the University of Calgary in 1978 and has been a chartered psychologist in Alberta since 1976. His work in leader development has led him to discover the use of aesthetic processes for the development of the individual. He has developed a number of aesthetic methods that assist individuals in self-discovery so that they might live more completely and fully with increased satisfaction and freedom.
Brian is a co-founder of the Calgary Chapter of World Future Society. He served as Vice-Chair, “Align to the 21st Century” City of Calgary Task Force to identify the means for keeping Calgary sensitive to and aligned to the trends and demands of the future. He serves as a Director of the Creating Tomorrow Foundation and the Alliance for Capitalizing on Change, volunteer bodies that focus on Alberta’s future. He served on the Calgary Bid Committee for the 2005 World’s Fair and led the committee work on the theme of Global Learning.
Since 1975, he has been an active member of the International Society of Systems Science, a body of researchers and practitioners in the areas of systems research, methodologies and applications. Brian has produced over 45 publications in the leadership, systems and knowledge areas.

Dr. Gordon Hasick
Dr. Gordon Hasick has a diverse background in clinical chiropractic care, education, and television production with a focus on human development and enhanced wellness.
He began his private chiropractic practice in Calgary in 1980, and has been a board certified instructor for the National Upper Cervical Chiropractic Association since 1989. He also served as Chief Chiropractic Officer for the 1988 Olympic Winter Games in Calgary as well as Team Chiropractor for Team Canada Men’s Volleyball Team.
As a chiropractor, his experience has been that the most beneficial approach in helping people create good health is to educate them not only about their physical health, but to also look at wellness from a holistic perspective. He believes the human journey offers a wide variety of opportunities that call us to adapt and change in order to maintain a healthy balance of inner peace, joy and fulfillment.
With that in mind, in 1993 Dr. Hasick established C-1 Film Production Corporation®, a company that uses the creative media of live workshops, television, video and audio programs to communicate wellness information. C-1 Films® distributes programs about hope and healing, and produces projects featuring success stories from those who have overcome significant challenges and have been able to thrive.
Dr. Hasick has also been a part of the faculty of Leadership Development at the Banff Centre since 2004 where he is part of a team that facilitates programs designed to build personal leadership with visions for an ideal and healthy future.
